The Class 2 Double Height Guardrail with Handrail has been rigorously tested to ensure compliance with AS/NZS 1170.1:2002 standards. This guardrail system is designed to provide reliable impact resistance and enhanced pedestrian safety in low to medium traffic conditions.

Crash tests confirmed the guardrail’s structural integrity and energy-absorbing capabilities, demonstrating its ability to mitigate collision impacts while maintaining stability. The integrated handrail also underwent safety validation to ensure consistent performance, complying with AS/NZ 2890.1 guidelines for the design, layout and construction of off-street car parking facilities, making this system a secure solution for pathways and elevated walkways.

The Kwik-Guard® Class 2 single height guardrail with backward-facing handrail meets the 30kN impact load specified in AS/NSZ 1170:1 Structural Design Actions.
