ESR Warehouse Development – Minto, NSW

The Challenge

Large logistics warehouses experience constant heavy vehicle movement, including semi-trailers, delivery vehicles, forklifts and plant equipment operating in tight loading dock environments.

These high-traffic conditions create potential risks for:

• Warehouse walls and structural columns
• Loading dock infrastructure
• Pedestrian walkways and operational areas
• Vehicle manoeuvring zones

The project required a robust vehicle containment solution capable of protecting critical infrastructure while allowing safe movement of both vehicles and personnel.

The Guard-R Solution

Guard-R Group supplied multiple Kwik-Guard® guardrail configurations tailored to different operational areas across the warehouse facility.

Guardrail Systems Supplied

Single Height Guardrail – Class 1

• 227 metres supplied
• 30kN impact rating
• Type F configuration
• Installed to protect building infrastructure and operational areas from light vehicle impacts.

Single Height Guardrail – Class 3 with Handrail

• 100 metres supplied
• 30kN impact rating
• Type F configuration
• Integrated 1100mm high pedestrian handrail
• Designed for areas where vehicle containment and pedestrian safety are both required.

Double Height Guardrail – Class 1

• 320 metres supplied
• 40kN impact rating
• Type G configuration
• Provides enhanced protection in higher-risk areas exposed to heavy vehicle impacts.

In total, 647 metres of guardrail was supplied across the development.

Installation

Installation was carried out by Safehub Wholesale, delivering the guardrail systems efficiently across the large warehouse footprint.

The modular design of the Kwik-Guard system enabled rapid installation while maintaining high performance and durability suited to demanding industrial environments.

The completed guardrail installation provides critical safety infrastructure throughout the ESR warehouse facility, delivering:
